Cancellation Policy

Sometimes a planned holiday cannot take place after all. In that case, you can cancel your booking under the terms below.

If you cancel:

  • 14 or more days before the booking starts: Free cancellation and full refund of any payments already made.
  • 8–13 days before the booking starts: We will charge 50 % of the rental price; any payments already made will be refunded pro rata.
  • 7 days before the booking starts: We will charge 70 % of the rental price; any payments already made will be refunded pro rata.
  • On the day the booking starts: The full rental price is due.

The assembly and cleaning flat fee is of course not charged in the event of a cancellation.

Cancellation Protection for extra flexibility — €9.90

If you would rather not be tied to fixed cancellation deadlines, you can add our Cancellation Protection for €9.90 with a single click during checkout. It gives you:

  • Free cancellation until the rental starts — including on the day of pick-up, no reason required.
  • Free rebooking before the rental starts, for example if your travel dates shift or the rental period needs to be longer or shorter (subject to availability).

Cancellation Protection can only be added during the booking process; it cannot be added later. The price of the Cancellation Protection itself is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

Note on the right of withdrawal

Under section 312g (2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), rentals of equipment intended for leisure use are not covered by the statutory right of withdrawal. Your booking therefore becomes binding the moment it is placed. Cancellations are only possible under the terms set out above or via our Cancellation Protection.
