We rent rear cargo boxes for the tow hitch in three sizes: 300, 400 and 450 litres. Pickup in Darmstadt, Steinstraße 16. We mount the box onto the hitch and walk you through the handling.
Rear box or roof box – which makes sense when?
- Rear box – if you drive an EV (much better range than with a roof box), for back-friendly loading, when you don't have roof bars or want to keep the roof free.
- Roof box – if you don't have a tow hitch, if you need to transport items longer than 225 cm, or when carrier and box would both be at the rear (then put the box on the roof).
Required: your car needs a tow hitch and a trailing number plate (both bookable as accessories).
